I hadn't heard of this drama, very informative Pippa.
If Pippa really wanted to talk about drama she should tell off the assholes in her community attacking Kirsche while invoking being a capipi all over Reddit/Twitter rn.
Look, I'm gonna be honest. At this point there is a lot larger of a gap between Kirsche's fans and Pippa's fans than there used to be. I think you guys are coping hard on this.
The biggest reason people don't like Kirsche is because she simply isn't popular with VTuber fans. Pippa also has this issue, but a) she herself is an outspoken VTuber fan and understands the culture so she can still be entertaining to those who are, and b) doesn't do explicitly political content like Kirsche does. You can say the DEI stuff is somehow "not political", but Kirsche's focus on politics (and being such an outspoken supporter of a political candidate, which is gauche even for mainstream celebrities) has made her radioactive to people who don't wanna bother with politics in VTubing. The fact that, at this point, she does more collaborations with podcasts and shares more in common with the standard right-wing podcaster audience demonstates that she's effectively abandoned "playing the game" of being a standard VTuber. Then she complains that she's not accepted within VTuber events and their communities when she's so blatantly disregarded the general content expectations and behavioral expectations of being what they consider normal. This all makes her significantly harder to watch and enjoy compared to Pippa, at least for people hovering around the political center or who are apolitical entirely.
Kirsche could've been way less political than how she turned out. That would've been great for her if she wanted to keep collaborating with her friends like Pippa or Mari or any of the other Phase girls. But since she's chosen her lot as a political content creator she's become persona non grata among corporations and Pippa/Mari need to beg for collabs with her to make sure she doesn't end up repelling their audience.

Saying a black person can't take a role that involves them being a slave actually loops around to being racist, if they had open auditions, and the best actor got the role, then it shouldn't be a problem if that role involves them being a slave, even if they're black. Especially if it's a male lead, it's basically saying blacks can't be lead roles if that lead male role involves them being a slave. This is a prime reason people say liberals/progressives are racist. They try to lock people out of roles that can be viewed as "problematic." Which is of course, if they actually follow the plot line of the anime/manga.

I get what you're saying, but look at results and not intent. Kirsche attacks the culture war shit head-on and Pippa avoids it - cool. Despite their different approaches and different beliefs (as best we can gather), both of them are constantly suffering the slings and arrows of retards anyway. I'll remind you that OffKai tried to axe both of them. The reason Pippa largely appears to escape the crosshairs is because she has Phase behind her.
Shrugging and going "oh well Kirsche is different, I'll go to bat for Pippa but that's it" is willingly submitting to obvious divide-and-conquer Saul Alinsky fuck-fuck games.
Tbph, I don't care about what the majority of vtuber fans think of Kirsche. I watch her often, I find her decently entertaining when she's yapping, sometimes it gets a bit too gross for me. I don't think vtubers should be political either but I also won't fight for them to avoid it if that's their thing. I just don't watch that kind. I do think she's political, DEI is inherently so.
There's undeniably a large overlap in Kirsche fans with Pippa fans (even if it isn't reciprocated statistically). The silent majority that just watches streams probably doesn't care about Kirsche or enjoys the collabs at least.
But there is that small, very loud minority of Pippa fans that hate Kirsche. So that's what I'm saying--it's not about Kirsche's content, it's about the fact that people are invoking Pippa and her community to harass and go after another content creator and spread misinformation about them both, who also considers Pippa a best friend. That really needs to stop before you get more shit like Archivebro using his mod powers to hate on Kirsche, why should it be acceptable in a community to harass and hate campaign a close friend of the streamer? That's nothing to do with her content. This "privilege" should extend even less when you do paid work for Pippa.
Look at how she reacted to SFO. And, if that minority can't handle being told that by Pippa herself, they should GTFO and get filtered.

Also I'll just say it, even if it's unpopular; black L in Netflix Death Note did a damn good job. Dude clearly watched the show, even if he didn't look right (outside of the race swap, he should have looked more weird/off-putting). Definitely more than Light's actor did, that's for sure. He knew the mannerisms and everything.
But 9-and-a-half/10 times the race swap is just there to get free Larry Fink bucks, and obviously done by some racist boomer from Hollywood trying to pretend he's progressive.
