I honestly don't care if any, or even all of the PC girls have partners. None of the enjoyment I have of the talents is based on them not having a boyfriend, nor of attempting to replace having a relationship with a girl with the parasocial enjoyment of a female streamer.

I saw a bit about the retards over at 4chan doomposting about this shit. Getting into relationships is a normal part of life, and I think it's extremely selfish to say that a girl (who you'll never have a relationship with) shouldn't enjoy this part of life because it somehow increases how much you like that girl when you watch her online, nonsexual content.

Anyway, Lumi should bring the boyfriend on-stream so we can find out how to get a menhera girlfriend off an obvious expert, and find out how he stays sane when he has to live with Lumi.

When she went to load a game in Oblivion, a save with a character named Oliver Tard was already there. EDIT: Actually, Oliver is Lumi's save file. The odd one out is the Fyren one. Sorry for mixing them up; I'm a bit of an Oliver Tard myself.

Now things probably would have been fine if she said that that was her save from when she was testing the game before stream, especially since calling her "tard" is already a meme in her community, but instead apparently she tried to say the save file was due to Steam Family Sharing, but Steam does not share saves like that. (It might be that someone logged in to whatever Steam account she uses when streaming, played the game, and then made a cloud save which is being listed there, but that's not the same thing as Steam family sharing.) She's also privated or deleted the VOD for full Streisand Effecting of the incident (this is also why I'm just going by what people relayed in the Groomcord rather than checking for myself). It sure looks like she doesn't want us to know about Oliver Tard Fyren.

I know it's dumb for a 0view like me to be giving tips to 4view corpos, but just for the benefit of both the seasoned pros and my fellow nobodies, an important reminder: stream from a user account on your computer that is not used for anything else other than working under your streaming identity. Don't do anything under your IRL identity there, and certainly don't let others use it. Also, if you're using Steam, create a new Steam account for your streamer identity and use Family Sharing to share your games with that account, rather than using your personal Steam account (and don't let anyone else play anything under your streamer account). Most streamer yabs would be avoided if streamers just followed these basic principles, but none other than the almighty Mikeneko was laid low by not airgapping her streaming accounts like this (plus doing full screen video capture rather than window capture, another important step).

That's a silly way to cover it up. People make multiple characters in TES games all the time. Just don't draw attention to it.

But Lumi doesn't GFE bait so I don't care.

A properly culled fan base will be happy for the BF yabs because it means she's finally going to not be so annoying when you know she badly needs some dick.

Vtubers are weird, in that way. As part of the appeal is always relationship potential, just as a basis, but there's a good number of them that it really boils down to "I'm glad you got a guy and I'm so glad it isn't me!". Bao is the most obvious answer, but there's plenty of others.

She was confused when the character was loaded in because she loaded an auto-save or something like that. She then took off the screen while trying to figure out how to turn off cloud saves for the game. Something like that. This went on for a few minutes.

Don't know which way to believe on this, but it wouldn't shock me at all if she does have a boyfriend. Some things would make more sense if she did.

As everyone here has said, I don't care if she does or doesn't. She's an entertainer, and that's what I watch her for. @RestlessRain said it perfectly. The extent of any parasocial feelings I have for her, or any vtuber/streamer, is that I wish them the best, like to see them happy, and hate to see them upset.

Again, I don't really know how to believe this whole thing, but regardless, it doesn't really change anything for me.
