Gura, Fauna, and Mumei were my main oshis from hololive. I enjoy Biboo and CC, but it's not quite the same.

I was gone all last weekend and busy this week most days and evenings. I've caught chunks of their streams here and there, but I I've got a ton of them from the past week or so from Mumei and Gura queued up to catch up on and watch through fully.

After that, I might take a break for a while unless a blue gremlin pops up again (though I'd imagine she'll take a break for a bit even if she does decide to come back later).

You know what? I actually liked Gura's graduation stream. Harkens back to the scuff that is Myth Year 1/2, and it was a much more lighthearted sendoff than Mumei's. Clearly two steps down from other EN grads and ten steps down from JP grads, but you know what? I still enjoyed Gura's the most, even if it wasn't as emotional. If there's one disappointment I had with Gura, is that she mentioned she wanted to hit 5mil subs by the end of this year about last year time, but just like with Atlantis... let's just say it's just c'est la vie.

That said, after being deeply depressed with Mumei's graduation, 4chan actually helped me cope by framing these graduation girls as 'traitors'. Basically, I channeled my inner rage like when I did with Randon/Lando graduations as I still do think of them as 'traitors' (never touched a stream of theirs after), and it's been emotionally uplifting, like a stone has been lifted. Makes me think that maybe these same 4channers are not really mad but coping with these graduations like I am, though I don't want to speak for others. Don't really seriously think Mumei/Gura as traitors when they have spent 3-5 years in the same company, but you know what they say, whatever helps me sleep soundly at night lol.

IMHO Sana's graduation stream was still the best produced, entertaining, and the most emotional of all the grads I saw (I've seen all of the HoloEN - heck Astrogirl still hits me in the feels). Really grateful for her, as her being like my 5th most watched vtuber at the time, I felt most of my emotional energy spent and so much of the force was blunted for grads after her. Heck, if Sana didn't graduate and Mumei/Gura graduated within a week of each other like this year, I may have literally KMS, traitor cope or not lol.

Now the only vtuber I'm really serious about is IRyS, and her being absent for the past three weeks is making me thinks she's next XD. Sure, I still watch Biboo/CC/GG/Liz from time to time, but not really emotionally attached to any of them. Maybe I will be attached to the next gen (I have a stinking feeling they will be debuting within the next 2 months), but who knows?

Mumei hit a lot harder, but Gura has been on "couple of streams per quarter" for long enough that it's more the surprise it hadn't happened sooner.



I think Nerissa is more broken up than we are here, which is weird but happens.

It makes sense since she's also a big holo fan and probably had interacted with Gura a lot offstream.

This outfit was great and it's unfortunate that we'll never see it again.

Despite the brainworms, the lack of communication/streaming, etc etc, you can tell she loved being on stage and I'm glad she got to share that love with us one more time. So all I can say is thanks for the good times and the great performances, Gura. Be happy, take care of yourself and have fun with whatever you do next.

Well makes sense if Gura was one of the reasons she joined Holo. I remember when PixelLink collapsed and Daiya was really despondent in her stream after Lottie's graduation and explained that Lottie was the reason she applied there in the first place. During Fauna's graduation wasn't it Fuwamoco who were all sad that they looked up to her even before they joined but never got around to collabing with her before she left? Correct me if I'm wrong on who it was.

I think Nerissa has done these post-graduation chatting streams every single time. Gotta say that while I haven't watched all of them, I do appreciate that she does them. She's a true, honest Holo fan and listening to someone like that yap their emotions out can be a big help to people who are feeling down. It's a kind gesture and since she's feeling just as sad as everyone else, it works out for everyone really.
