I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I understand that some vtuber fans are filthy sex freaks, and they'll buy things like lewd artwork and stuff. That's a given. The problem I have with Luwud is how it's presented and the personality it's based on.

The way Luwud acts is obnoxious, and I agree it's weird how he presents himself when he is affiliated with Phase-Connect in some way. Then, there's the fact it's Pippa. We all make jokes like "tee hee Pippa is gay. Haha Pippa kisses girls," but her streams are never about Pippa the character being sexualized. Outside of the gacha streams, her content is pretty tame.

tl;dr I don't like it. Luwud is very annoying, and I would not have sex with him.

Trying to set up a bank account, he retells this story better on Trash Taste and the other hosts speak about it too I think or vise versa. This does not even cover trying to transfer funds or taking in funds from a foreign place or getting a credit card.
And I can't find the other video about the stamps but it was when he was registering with the city or some shit and he had to go back twice because of the stamp debacle. There's a lot of videos about the stamp you need that is basically your signature and needed for gov forms and shit done by other foreigners. His story is near the beginning of his retirement starting in japan ~2 years ago but I can't find the video rn.

Oh and a final thing that isn't covered by him, his experience is way easier and better because he already has $50+ million. He has the visa that you get by spending money and he can throw money at shit to speed things up, he doesn't have to rent, he bought his home outright so he only needed to find a business that was willing to sell to a foreigner. He also doesn't "work" so he can take whatever appointment thrown his way or just show up in person to wait. It's much worse when you have less money or work a more schedule or traditional job and as a freedom loving American I think it's maddening

Issue with that is it's something Pippa actively engages with, hard to argue to cut it out when the talent the community is built around encourages it. It would be like telling moojisans to not post about lolis when Muyu is, well, Muyu and does Muyu things.

Kinda but she does have a more independent job that isn't rigid like being an English teacher or office worker. It's isolating and lonely all the same unless you put in a TON of work. The absence of a safety net + language barrier is bad. I can say with certainty she'd hate living there. Visiting with money is EPIC. But even extended visits are different than living there.
