In all fairness for the comparison, Runie left an incredibly small corpo that started with a failed concert, for Phase Connect, which is much more prominent and could give her a bigger audience and much better pay. Going to a job at a company with better pay makes sense. Trading Vshojo for Phase Connect doesn't really make sense, as fun an rrat as it is.

Comparatively speaking, Kaleido are doing a lot better than the jp side of origins years back, but that's in part due to the traction that the company has garnered somewhat. I'd like to think that the other part is all that fleshtreaming meta.
