Eh, nearly all the big names started as indies. Corpos, though, work as a good filter of crap - if I watch a corpo vtuber, I've got a good chance of watching someone that's at least decent at streaming, even if I don't necessarily enjoy that talent.
As a true pipnig I cannot relate to Pippa here at all. I never watched even one whole stream of the shark (it's half because Nolan "likes" her so much). And I can count on one hand the number of holo streams I've watched jej
