Kiara, of Hololive fame, had one of her more well-known fans apparently commit suicide. In response, made a twitter post offering her time and attention to anyone feeling like they were in a similar situation. While it is a nice thought, it's not a good idea in actuality. Even if no-one would abuse this goodwill gesture (doubt), I don't think she is equipped to take on the burden of supporting anyone that is actually feeling suicidal. Besides taking on a huge emotional burden, people that deal with people at risk of suicide get trained for such situations - what to say, how to behave, who to call, what services to refer to, what signs to look for, all sorts of stuff like that. Wanting to help is nice but that's not the same as actually helping.
Remi's post reassuring her viewers that they're loved and appreciated by her was the better move.
