The only thing I know about cats and their diet is that feeding them a lot of tuna can be harmful due to the mercury in the fish could cause neurological issues.

One time I was put in front of about ~30 people all awaiting my punishment as I lost a team-building exercise. The punishment, of course, was to eat some kind of animal food, can't remember. I couldn't even get the food out of the package from gagging until I made it clear I physically couldn't... Pippa you don't have to do this. It's not worth it.

I did voluntarily buy a bag of the by-the-pound dog treats from Petco once and snacked on them. Gave me the worst stomach ache I'd ever had at that point.
