Because the things he want's to conserve, and is angry at northern conservatives for not conserving, are things like slavery. He tells you right there that he is against women's rights (and that's 1800s women's rights, you know, basic shit like getting to vote or going out without a male escort). I just wouldn't be so quick to model my life after his teachings considering the motivations he wrote them with.
The vast majority of women I have ever spoken to have admitted at some point or another than they hate the responsibility of voting and would rather not have it. They hate being judged by the same standards as men and hate being independent, because it is radically against their natural biological instincts to seek a male protector and have a family. Female happiness has collapsed since the feminist movement, and more women than ever are miserable, upset, dissatisfied and childless, something that was not the case before feminism. The average feminist is an angrier, less satisfied, depressive and childless woman who longs for things to change but refuses to accept the responsibility for why things are currently so bad.
Meanwhile slavery has been a natural part of human society since at least 6,000 BC and still is. Most of the household items you use were created by slaves in a foreign country. Chattel slavery was a doomed institution that was being steadily phased out of even Southern society by the civil war, and likely would not have lasted even another fifty years as economic conditions changed and made the Southern model less and less economically viable. You get to morally grandstand to me about slavery when you delete your Amazon account, throw away your phone and start making your own pots and pans. Hell, stop drinking coffee and tea as well, since most of that is harvested by slaves as well.
Do you genuinely believe your lifestyle and mindset aligns with his?
Do you think he, or those hypothetical WW2 soldiers for that matter, would approve of your oh-so-ironic lusting after Kirsche, Mozu or whoever sparks your fancy this week? Would they approve of you being a virgin at 30, living with your parents? Would they approve of you not living in a nuclear family the minute you exit school? Would they approve of you not going on the streets fighting for your right to own slaves?
Yes, I do. Those people would love the fact that I choose to stick with the people who raised me and work to maintain their near-total independence from society via hard work in a traditional farming lifestyle. They would approve of me enjoying the company of women who openly speak out against the feckless degeneracy and morally filthy way of life people have allowed themselves to slip into. They would approve of the fact I haven't sullied my body with whores and loose women without every forming a strong attachment or lasting bond with them. They would approve of the fact I go to church every week and engage with a high-trust, culturally unified society with strong moral values that refuses to bow before the social pressure exerted by ludicrous activists and political imbeciles. I would be very much at home with all of those people and strongly prefer their company to whining self-absorbed liberals.
