Any other year, I wouldn't care about Holo sweeping but everything that went down with Doki getting nuked by her own company, attempting twice, getting black screened, clawing it all back, hosting multiple big collab events for the community, and finally reaching her old sub count as Selen makes that decision super cringe. I like both (all 3 whatever you would call it lol) but I am surprised the twins got it over Doki who had to go hard on building back up from everything. Like you said she had a lot of shit to sort out and do and even during all that was still trying to run back and forth getting merch shit done, getting fucked over by THAT too before finally managing to get something sorted out there. I assume if it's mostly fanvote it was probably just the fact the twins have a big ass chunk of fans in EN and JP which likely got them a lot of support that pulled it out considering their subcount and blah blah.

Overall while I'm not offended by it, I do think Doki easily deserved it. It would have been a nice extra little jewel for Doki to have at the end of the year.

Yeah, Doki easily deserved that award, not FPS tuber, which should have gone to someone else since that wasn't really a big thing she did.
