The two with the most practice, Lumi and Ember, seem to do a much better job of killing their teammates than the enemy. I'm now starting to suspect those who have been calling orbital strikes on my ass

The grenade bounced and killed her. Classic.
Fun fact about the grenade launcher: you can actually use it to kill tanks from the front. So long as you hit the "head" the explosion will still damage the vent weak point in the back. Takes a couple shots but useful. Same goes for the AT-ST things where hitting the basket on top will kill the robot piloting them.
