VT Rainbow, like Pride Prism, seems to be a loosely-organized of primarily trans vtubers but not a full agency. Pride Prism recently had a controversy where they kicked out one of its organizers for being racist or something in one of those typical eat-our-own/two minutes of hate campaigns we see on Twitter.

Shit is actively hitting the fan at mach speeds in the manga, I'd recommend you catch up when you can. We're nearing chapter 100, so it'd be a bit before it even gets close to current (especially considering they'll most likely take a break to allow the series to get more content to be animated).

Edit: For more interested parties, there's a few arcs in the series that follow shit that happens to even vTubers (internet going nuts and hating someone who 'ruins' a collaborative venture, female idol 'interacting' with men, getting permissions to anything as a Japanese company [this one takes a few chapters and is genuinely inciteful]).

It was less that HololiveEN itself ruined vtubing, and more the flood of as she called it "vtuber roleplayers" they brought in. Said it changed what a vtuber is seen as suddenly.
