If she makes around 3.5-4k USD a month from supas alone, that's anywhere between 8-4 times the average Romanian paycheck, and still needs to work her actual job, she might not be in Romania after all.

Youtube takes 30% and Sakana takes an unknown amount from that too. If she's also paying for resources for streaming and NotTheo for clipping and modding her chat,
it's hard to work out how much she's actually making. But she also gets membership money and an income from selling merch. What's that all add up to? Don't know.
The other reason to keep her job is that streaming is a very unreliable job. Who's to say that if Tenma was making enough money to live as a streamer now and quit her job, she'd still be in the same spot in two, three five years? If she later needed a regular job, how do you explain your previous job as an anime girl streamer to a prospective employer?
As the others said above, it get worse if you are also an entertainer competing in a popular online tournament. Even on tournament that are supposed to be "only for fun", you get people like Suisei, Aqua or Subaru crumbling under pressure and crying because of the fear of viewers disappointment in a freaking mario kart game.
Also, even in RL competitive sports, I don't think I have seen a lot of people doing an effective comeback and staying at the top for long, once you end your career and taste the joy of not training everyday, it's an impossible task unless you are passionate or super duper addicted to your previous activity to the point of sacrificing everything again.

I would like to add additional reason:. It could be the cultural and mindset in her country as well. I think Romanian will think the 'streamer' is not a job, and won't earn much, and people would consider you as neet and laugh at you. Therefore Tenma need to have a shitty job to hide her powerlevel.
And I don't think this is limited to the Romania. It was happened to Panko from Italy as well. Her parents and brothers don't understand her job, and think she is a neet who doesn't step outside of her room, and yell at her not contributing to her family (but in fact she did pay money to parents). That argument causing Panko to have extremely bad mood, and decided to cancelled the stream and explain in her member only post

Japan enacted new laws to stop companies from overworking employees. They cap overttime and penalize companies for going over it.
So maybe she lives in japan? I'm sure in Canada clocking in on an offday would be stealing company time.

Oga isn't a pro by all means but he's one of the more known fighting game fans among all holostars, he even played the beta version of Street Fighter 6 (and the old arcade version for good measure) and part of the sponsored streamer who hold watchalong of the recent guilty gear AWT finals

I actually wouldn't be so sure this is the last one. Hal has been saying this may be the last one since V-Saikyo 2 because he's always anticipating that the heat death of the game is always around the corner, but it insofar hasn't happened (even if it's clearly not in stellar shape. Indie Devs pls understand).
There's also a discussion to be had about sponsorships and projections. CR Cup has already had a Valorant and OW2 tournament and both of them performed worse in overall viewership than Apex. This is mostly due to the format of a staggered 5v5 league table rather than 60-man multi-POV, as well as there being less places available because OW2 only has 4x teams of 5, and Valorant 8x teams of 5.
For them, that's fine, as Crazy Raccoon are their own enterprise run by pros of all three games, but Hal is not. Hal is an Indie who shoulders the responsibility of his own V-Tuber corpo now, and so the decision to host a new tournament at the expense of Apex is far more precarious for his bottom line. There will always be more people willing to join the Apex format, and it will always result in more viewers which, in turn, leads to more eyes on the merch he's trying to sell. This is mostly coming out of his own pocket.
Maybe he will post a tweet in 10 minutes saying it is indeed the last one, but there's also other factors. For starters, TSB don't have to reunite specifically under V-Saikyo. This tournament introduced big content creators like Nocturnal and NiceWigg to the community, and both RPR and Selen herself have been tossing around the idea of hosting their own EN format for a good while now.
As for her status as a 9x Top 500 player in Overwatch, that's certainly true, but also consider that the only Japanese players that even give a shit about that game are usually the ones who are really good at it, so the standard of entry for that tournament will be much higher. Hal can't very well slice the participants by 66% and also try to maintain the same mid-core player skill and expect the same level of interest in his product.
Even if Apex as a game is in a sorry state, Apex as an opportunity to bring lots of people together and host something huge is still probably the most lucrative game in the genre.
Valorant will also almost completely shut down any overseas participation due to high ping and the Valorant pros not being connected to the V-Tubers in Japan, so Hal loses out on potential growth there too. They'll never fit all of VSPO in those teams, Nijisanji representation will be way down. Hololive and Holostars likely won't see any participation whatsoever because even good players like Astel won't get in over bigger creators like VSPO, Kuzuha, Kanae, Lauren etc. Smaller creators like Shishigami Leona and Hira Hikari will just never get a chance and the tournaments will homogenise into the same relatively small clique of tryhards that CR Cup operates in.
I think Hal will at least continue for 1-2 more, and if he doesn't, I feel like someone else like rpr will see it as an opportunity to jump in and host their own, and TSB can just go there.

In all seriousness though, I'm definitely looking forward to it, and wish that HoloLive EN TTRPG was a regular thing because it's good content - maybe put together a group of the more active members (CouncilRyS + Pink/Orange Woman + Ame + EN Gen 3 Copium) that can phase in and out as needed according to their schedule. Make a Bounty Hunter/Monster Hunter campaign, each session a new hunt, focus on inter-player camaraderie and mechanics of the hunt/bounty itself instead of an over-arching story - or, at least, that's how I would run things.
