No, I was there for the whole thing. With how she was trying to find churches, to staying at her friends place at her request, stories of her family, and my understanding is all she needs is a proper church to settle down with - and I mean a *proper* proper church.

From my understanding, she was recounting her first visits to catholic churches, since she was raised southern baptist - and her questions regarding doctrine were not out of line with catholic teaching, but I'm not here to talk theology. I made a joke about marrying her that I feel has gone further off-course than intended, but I do not believe the semantics of the joke themselves were incorrect.
