Regardless of the other streamers' reactions, and regardless of Lumi's intentions, this was a really, really, really stupid thing for Lumi to do, and I'm dumbstruck that she thought this was appropriate, especially given her experience in the industry. If I were her manager I would be irate that she would do something so stupid and invite this kind of backlash. I think at least some discipline is appropriate for this. Maybe she needs to take a week off for spring break.

Yup, ideally it shouldn’t have happened in the first place, and PC said it was going to be taken care of - all of this could have been dealt with over DM, Lumi would have correction behind the scenes, and everything could be settled amicably. Unfortunately, that is not what happened, and there is a dog pile on Lumi despite correction said to be issued. So nobody comes out of this situation cleanly, but all of this will be forgotten in about two weeks time when the next public outrage happens. Please look forward to it.
