Let’s be reasonable, she and almost everyone, like me, read the wiki and see it’s a suicide hotline, and a 501c3 charity and think it’s legit.

I personally support the idea of a trans suicide support hotline. Did you know that of the 41% of trans people who attempt suicide, a vast majority of them fail? Clearly they need advice on better techniques.

See the thing is, I didn’t care enough to watch 36 min of something from someone I don’t even like. It was much easier to look it up myself.

I’ll admit that I shouldn’t have said “tell me it yourself”. I wasn’t sure I would find anything and was impatient, as it took 15 min to find anything

It isn't "idol mentality will destroy vtuber culture!". It's "rampant schizo fans imposing more and more restriction is destroying japanese vtuber culture". It's not that hard to understand if you stop thinking she's pulling 4D move in further Vshojo brand of degeneracy and just realize that she talked with her ex-roommate and friends and go on a self-righteous crusade. I myself considered the whole thing could be worded and organized better than just come in ad-hoc swinging with a notepad, but it isn't something grand as an attack on Hololive idol marketing or stuff like that.

Rewatching it she is super nervous and also i hear a lot of vague statments.Taishi did the worst translation of his life but still is very funny:

it’s OK I have a feeling that Lopi is the only exception on this list. That being that she’s likely the only decent VTuber there and everyone else is boring or worse, a like Froot

Well, that's on Mike's head. Each to their own and all that. Kson said so that if you want to support anyone like that it's okay, but acting like that's the only correct way to be a fan is the problem. Also just my observation, the last time Mike went out of her way to groom an army of deranged unicorn, it doesn't end well doesn't it? I still agree with the sentiment that in general unicorn need to be cull and tag.

Side note but poor Taishi. Not the easiest thing to live translate especially when she's quite scatter all over the topic herself. Bit off more than he could chew this time.

Honestly, I like the look of the new model. Looks less janky and home-made than her original one (which had it's charm but has definitely been way overdue for change/update)
