There was drama between them that to be fair was more on the original model creator wanting in on Melody's overnight success, and trying to force Mel to collaborate with YFU so she could "leech" off some of that success.

She outclassed Gura and Mori at one point (I'm not sure now) in Supers, gets invited to JP events/programs because she is fluent, has been invited to Korea and German events because why not (other talents bar Irys and Bae have not even gone to such events), but NOOOO, woe is me, I was the last in EN to get 1 mil subs when half of the company still can't break 200k. Kiara has been and will always be a numberfag and the only number she cares about is the Subs (which is a shit number to look at). She never seems to focus on CCV, Superchat or Memberships. Her fanbase was one of the more hardcore ones when it came to showing support. I haven't watched much of Myth recently to know if the fandom has gotten stronger or weaker. I feel like the whole mentality is a remnant of her idol days and its something she will only fix with therapy.

There are a plethora of free Vtuber apps with load of free and customizable FREE assets.
If you want something more "personal", just cook up something with AI (like FlaVR) (but really don't support AI)
Some Vtubers even found a niche with their shitty MS paint avatars
All these faggots really are doing is trying to give themselves a lame excuse as to why they don't actually want to stream but still get the clout from the Vtuber tag

If you're a lazy dipshit vtweeter, life is all about finding excuses for everything you don't want to do, and for everything you did do but shouldn't have. You think if someone gave these retards $10,000 models, new PCs and software and mics, that they'd start doing shit? Of course not. These are the same limpdicks who bitch about Elon Musk types but if you gave them the money Musk started with, they'd all just be in somewhat larger basements, fapping to more expensive porn on bigger monitors and accomplishing nothing where Musk turned his money into billions. It's not just how they ended up failures, it's who and what they are, and it's forever. If you gave them Hololive gigs and top of the line gear tomorrow, they'd flake out every time. If you handed them a million dollars free and clear to turn into a bigger fortune, they'd be broke inside 2 years. Meanwhile your Kiaras or Pippas start with jack shit and end up on top, and would do it again if they lost it all and had to start over.

BTW Pippa's two cents earlier about the USB mic thing was not her agreeing you need expensive shit, she simply said it was a good guide to mics. As in, informative and accurate, which I'll assume it was, coming from someone like Pips who has used them daily for many years and owned both cheap and expensive mics. She didn't say "you need expensive shit" she said "this is a good guide to expensive shit".

1. Taught herself Japanese at a young age through brute forcing conversations over chat programs with native Japanese speakers
2. Went to Japan and joined an Idol group "Tone Jewel" in 2012.
3. Got essentially stalked and run out of the group by a guy known as JRCach who would impersonate venue managers and complain about her and tricked the band management to let her go. That she slept her way to 'success')
6. Tried to get a job at Lufthansa, which by my understanding is a really difficult to land and prestigious job. Failed the medical exam due to long term problems with Fibromyalgia and taking antidepressants -

7. Sometime during this, took small bit parts based on her cosplay work. Ended up in a 'pseudo' wrestling match where she was lied to about A) it involving men, and B) they would treat her nicely. 8. Was resigning herself to a life of being a 'normal' worker. Came to Japan one last time on an exclusive, once in a lifetime work visa that cannot be renewed. Many speculate she came as a translator during the Olympics. She also seemingly was trying hard one last time to get picked up by a major company as full time cosplayer. Of course, this got COMPLETELY derailed by COVID.
9. We are now here. She's now the successful vTuber Takanashi Kiara, but the past 8-9 years of being completely shit on by every opportunity she's had has definitely caused her to be defeatist. It was much more prevalent in the early streams (you could tell she was in the Idol industry "Last place = loser/gets fired" mentality.) But she's getting better as time goes on.

Really the early part of Kiara's career can't be accurately looked at without considering the absolute mountain of shit she had to trudge through to get to where she was at that point in her life. Her early career was fraught with having to fix her own perspective about how Hololive was going to treat her, as well as a crippling imposter syndrome from everything that lead to that point.

Edit: I also forgot to mention the Kiara antis at her start were ruthless. She had already a large group of antis from /clg/ (point 5) and it took a long time for her positive viewers to stabilize /jp/ and /vt/ so any positive chat could be had about her.

It's pretty funny that anons generally revised their opinion on her only after Mori's little tantrum on twitter after the lean yab - and found chicken to be one of the very few holoENs who respect idol fandom/don't hold it in contempt.

I was doomposting about her initially because of her mental state being a danger, obnoxious numberfagging, her generally being annoying (with a retarded fanbase to boot) and a tryhard; she's still all of those but I've had to revise my opinion since she has yet to melt down and cause damage. It probably helps that I gave up on all of the holoEN as unfixable and would've given up on all of EN chubas if not for a spidor dork.
