Have you ever watched a Uruka stream and paid attention to the chat? Talk about a group of people who have no shame in horny posting on main. Whenever I watch her stream, I don't want to participate in the chat because it gives me such a weird vibe. Almost like I'm watching discord groomers in action. It doesn't happen all the time but I've seen it take place enough that it's note worthy.

Still no DnD but not-DnD is also surprisingly fun so I'll take it. The combat seems much more fluid and less fuckery than the last RPG I played (it's D:Os 2)

Interesting and candid take from the ancient. Seems Niji is pushing her and other livers toward performer route and she doesn't like it much.
Solasta is just DnD 5e rules as written, except you lack the ability to do anything especially creative which is kind of a turn off to me. DnD as a purely combat game's best trait is when you can actually manipulate the environment and do things beyond just hitting people if you have enough imagination and creativity. Pretty much no video game does that well enough due to the inherent limitations of it being a video game. When you got a DM willing to reasonably play ball and can challenge you, I can think over very few combat games better then a TTRPG. Plus I think vanilla no homebrew 5e is kind of scuffed, so as much as I enjoy Vesper's streams of the game I don't think I'll ever play Solasta myself.
Divinity 2 is pretty good if you understand what's going on, the game is super exploitable with enough forethought as teleporting people into lava (which you can drag across the map if you're stubborn enough) or one shot fog is funny, or lighting your weapon on fire before spinning with a stick at 5 enemies and then they all explode on top of each other as fire balls ricochet across all the enemies. Very fun, albeit badly balanced in the player's favor, combat system.

That's not exactly what she's saying.
She's saying that the company has recently made singing and dancing more of a prerequisite to entering, which is true for JP as classes are mandatory in VTA, but she explicitly says that it doesn't apply to her and she doesn't expect it to come to retroactive policy changes in the future either.
Melissa Kinrenka was one of their most musically gifted talents and she still quit due to creative differences. The company is just crushingly autistic sometimes.

Melissa probably quit because she wanted to actually own her music, which kinda goes against their business model and would likely result in the other livers wanting the same. I actually think that's a good idea, but it's not how the agencies work. This is probably why Karen keeps up an active career as DemonDice.
