Finished RRR. I quickly remembered that this was the same guys who made Baahubali so it was a blast. Extremely over the top and overproduced in the most earnest kind of way and I find end dance scene so overly nationalistic it was kind of endearing. Fun movie, shame Amazon Prime didn't have it so I had to rely on a bootleg VK Russian dub, though if you're able to understand what's going on in a movie with no subtitles and in Russian, then you know it's a fun movie

Majority of JP Vtubers/Utaite etc that likes the Virtual aspect still does it, especially if they don't have dual public lives or shill their porn, I mean ASMR. EN side specifically go out of their way to say "Vtubing involves your IRL being posted too!"

People network, do special events, and get to shill their other prospects (to be fair, its mostly porn) besides chuuba-ing if they show up to cons, and at a higher incentive than a meet & greet with a screen

Im not saying they aint whores because most are, but i think there is little to care if you're an indie that networks irl

I would argue alot of corpo wouldn't care if weren't for the corpo rules, really staying anonyms only really hurst your chance at growing and creating a brand outside of your character.

It's possible, even for corpo. At least, it's working for Calli so far. I think she has done well promoting herself as a VTuber and a IRL persona, even if they aren't allowed to be directly connected.
