i've been looking at 2 websites: Twitter fans thinks he should have a better model but are happy hes playing minecraft, Tumblr fans thinks the blob model is cute and are happy hes playing minecraft...though my pool of dream fan community interaction is tiny so idk

all dream drama off the top of my head: _may or may not have been active in kiwifarms _may or may not have been "right-adjacent" _ main Dream drama about sexting some "underage girl"- this never went anywhere, the "victim" promised to report him to the authorities but never did, she got drama...

Dream's fans have little overlap with Vtubers. tbh Dream made the model because 1) its his recognizable mascot 2) fans wanted to see his reactions while he plays minecraft (but he does NOT like facecam). so this vtubing thing was a compromise more than wanting to be in the vtuber community.
