My understanding was that whoever sent Nemo the message "warning" her about the post on /vt/ also sent a message to Blaise "threatening" to post about it here? I could be wrong but I didn't get the impression that it was Nemo trying to make us her personal army, rather this unknown 3rd party.

Exactly. Obviously an amateur won't be making thumbnail art or something in a week, but personally I'd think making something yourself would be more meaningful than commissioning something... that just kind of seems like a roundabout way to donate instead of an actual show of expression.
