I know there will never be a mutual ground between either side in this discussion, I don't think there can be by the very nature as its more of a case of ideals versus ideals. I don't think many of you care about Kirsche or Asmon being targeted, I sure as shit don't care about Ana being targeted. But even within each side I think my very lazy and half hearted "why you sucking Pippa dick" does establish that there's no chance for discussion because any attempt at presenting a dissenting opinion is a call for attack. I mean to be fair I was asking a loaded question but while Ana tried to take some moral high road (by way of being flippant and ignoring the hypocrisy of using Pippa as an example, bringing attention to Phase and Pippa in a positive tone, even if not praise, is establishing a "I have and probably do still absorb their content to some degree", so again, replace Pippa with Kirsche and the hypocrisy is obvious), the immediate attack, to the point of my anti-Kirsche posts being reported by fans of Ana, just to ensure I am silenced and punished for daring to question the almighty God Ana is such a degree of hypocrisy and irony that is concerning. Much like my post stating that the right is better at putting aside differences, I also hate to admit, the right is better at avoiding this type of cannibal infighting, because I think you're more aware that Kirsche and Asmon are symbols of an ideal, rather than putting them up as the actual figures of a movement themselves, so you can (to a degree) criticize them more openly then I can Ana.
Which is also why I probably won't be on BSky for a while, I will eventually return, I can't NOT be an asshole online, even at the risk of my own reputation, but I need Ana to actually do what they said they were going to do and get the fuck out of the conversation, instead of just saying they are while never shutting the fuck up.
Just giving some insights into a lefty cucks thoughts into the current state of things. I've still got a hard on for the overall cause/ideal, but the arm chair activism, hypocrisy and figure heads has left a horrible taste in my mouth. I saw someone in here say Ana is a true blooded activist, I'd actually disagree, solely because all of their "activism" came from "you have personally attacked me, so now I am going to use my platform to attack you". Vallure said no to them being in there, article goes up disguised as a trans rights article but it was entirely focused on how Ana was wronged, Kirsche talks Ana, Ana see's Kirsche as safe to write articles on due to her being more open about her extreme opinions, but again, all posts regarding Kirsche are "this is how Kirsche and her fans have personally affected me". Then Ana bails, I guess fuck everyone who also put themselves out there and at risk for Ana. Even if that's not quite armchair activism, it's at least incredibly selfish and accomplishes nothing but putting money in Ana's pocket.
