[- AMAZON STILL HAs a few copies of Ghost in the Shell (Special Edition) on DVD—the only version that features 6:1 DTS-ES Surround Sound. If you’ve got a decent home theater setup, the sound design during scenes like Batou chasing down the red thug through the ghetto market into the canal is incredibly immersive. Directional gunshots, wood fencing getting shredded—it all hits different in this mix.
The only downside... It’s standard-definition DVD, so yeah, it’s gonna look like ass on modern displays. But credit where it’s due: Manga Entertainment (the US studio behind this release) whoever they are did a solid job with the audio at the time.
The 4K version looks better, obviously, but the sound design doesn’t quite match the punch of this DVD Special Edition.
Amazon JP - Still has the Ghost in the Shell artbook archives too—loaded with key animation and layout drawings, if you're into the production side of things.

I was talking about the whole place not just VT, you used to be able to SAAR post on places like VG but now there's been bans across the whole place because of jeet posting.
