I couldn't get through season 1. Its funny, and it being a heavy handed harry potter parody is funny, but I don't really like comedy anime.
I can get that, I managed through season one but haven't watched more than the first ep of the second season.

It's more fighting anime then comedy. Also, other than the magic school theme, there's not much Harry Potter similarity. It's more like OnePiece with its ridiculous battles, power scaling and too much focus on the side kick characters. It's going to follow the same downward trajectory that happened to One-punch man when the story move its focus away from the title character.
