The original Kiara voice is long since dead.
But maybe her "stage" voice is now her default like the "streaming voice". The day to day shouldn't be to far off.
I get goosebumps (the bad kind) seing Kiara's 2021/22 clips with the super high pitch
Yeah, same here. I also ordered the entire set of merch for Yuko, and now that she graduated, Idol has ghosted any attempts to contact them for a refund for the product I haven't even gotten yet.
Make a huge spectacle on Twitter and tag the company. They will reach out to you and fix the problem if you delete the tweet or something. That seems to be the MO for most companies now-a-days.
Idol really does feel like a sinking ship at this point. This is not the first time we've seen odd unexplained absences, and the last two with Yuko and Pochi were obviously because of issues behind-the-scenes.
The recent acceleration is just more cause for concern, since this is quickly becoming the Niji business model where they continuously roll out new waves to lessen the financial impact of existing talents leaving.
That's genuinely unacceptable, and it fits in with some of the other unprofessional conduct we've seen from Idol. Aviel only cares about complaints if they hurt his optics - that's why no action was taken on paying that one artist and the clipper programme guy or resolving Pochi's issues until they were made public. If you know of other people who're also having trouble with Idol merch it might be worth making a thing of it.
Phase need to get their fucking shit together with merch too but at least they make some effort to communicate when there are unexpected delays (like the announcements for the Airi mugs and the bean plushie things); going silent and straight-up not responding to emails is just shady.
She's still in the honeymoon period and has just made a bunch of new friends. I'd be curious to see how keen she is in a year's time.
I am extremely skeptical on how Idol operates now. I am not sure if this is somewhat related to the BraveGroup merge thing but it feels like something that started happening around that time.
Probably just work culture in Japan. She probably feels bad about leaving work to take care of her family and won't allow herself to basically "mooch" off of the company time.
I dont know the terms but I really hope that they manage to have her show up here and there. Seems like such a waste when someone so loved by the talents and the community just vanishes.
Call this a rrat but isnt it pretty normal for someone to ask for a leave, go on trial for another company, ended the trial period, get accepted and quit the current company?
It happened all the times where I'm from. Someone of a-chan's resume could easily 3x her salary by jumping ships. I'm plenty sure holo would let her took a 1 year leave if she was really leaving for family matters. Pregnancy leave is normal in every business. No way they would kick her after 6 months?
Niji is doing great as is. I dont think they need to spend a ton of money to secure a talent/project manager. Im speaking about JP not EN but i doubt they would put her in charge of the whole EN branch.
A-Chan's msg has gotten nearly 7m impressions in 2 hours. That's wild.
As for the "why", while so much of Japan lives in the Tokyo region, reality is most move their as adults for work. Which likely means something serious with one or both parents, which is really bad to hear. We all hope for the best for all of them. A-Chan is also business English fluent and can easily find other work close to home, but it's still unfortunate for everyone around.
It's a complete rrat, but I wonder if they'll be pulling Bae into some hosting duties for future cross-ID/EN/JP streams now that A-chan can't translate (and the other local options are Calli who'd be too busy with music, the twins who are a bit too soft spoken to host, and on the JP side Subaru and Ririka might not be confident enough in their skills to take the job. If Kiara was in Japan I'd say her, for sure). Plus there was this tweet, which could be referring to regular work that's just busier than normal or to her picking up new work she wasn't doing before:
That would be interesting. I feel like there is a need for more EN-speaking staff in the JP branch. The idea of using the talents for this job seems like a waste and a good way to burn the talents out.
From my limited and therefore possibly wrong knowledge (not a regular Ollie watcher), Googhoul wasn't just a zomrade - they were a megafan that I think commissioned or used friend connections to generate a metric shit-ton of Ollie fanart for her. She was doing as much for Ollie as a fan that a paid PR person probably could have.
She really seems to take it hard. Now I'm worried on what would happen to similar talents, like Kiara or Nerissa who is really close to their fandoms, would react if one of their ubersimps pass away.
Guessing the person in question was fairly young and they do seem to be a mega Ollie fan. Ollie is the type that lurks on 2 view streams and seems to be hyper aware of her community so yes i would assume that this would hit her really hard.
I wonder if Sakana is seething over this. He always wanted to have an active Phase Minecraft server and even tried making a joint Phase+Tsunderia server which never went anywhere.
I'm not too familiar with Rurumi's artstyle, but just after posting her graduation letter she retweeted this. A new account created last month. I also saw both accounts using "★彡"
I'm not sure why prehistoric animal girl isn't enough of a character concept that she doesn't need to layer something else on top, but I suppose there are so many vtubers now that it's necessary to combine concepts for a character design to stand out.
Honestly based.
MT is like the only "true harem" I tolerated. I remember hating the genre with a passion after to love ru and its clones splash onto the scene. It's something that goes deeper than isekai.

I wasn't talking about nijisanji, they will never actually pay the 3x salary part. More like Toyota, mitsubishi, sony, mitsubishi, etc. Her resume is good enough to pull a good job anywhere even if not vtubing related. There are a few Vtubers megacorpos with money that really needed actual management as well like the tv asahi
Brave also have money but largely lacks direction. But nothing about it look stable. And seems like they dont have control over its branches. Still alot more enticing than niji though.
Ranking goes like 1. Sony 2. Mitsubishi..... .... 20. Random startup company ... 40. Brave .... 59. McDonalds. 60. Local Bakery. 61. Nijisanji.
There is literally no reason for her to even go nijisanji. Doesnt pay staff, executive positions are all nepo hire, immense lack of staffs, etc.
Koyori will try to finish FF5 today after going almost half a day streaming yesterday.
Because of her two year hiatus, 774inc's Tsukinoki Tirol missed quite a lot of FOTM. She will start her Pokemon Scarlet playthrough at 12.30PM JST.
The description section is quite long and she wrote a bit about her hiatus. During hospitalisation she was not allowed to play this game as the nurses thought it was too stimulating for her.
Suou Patra is back with the weekly FF after surgery. First FF9 stream at 1PM JST.
Subaru vs Shion's Super Mario Maker level.
Cleared two hours short of the record.
All of this cryptic key-jingling from Activ8 and you can bet the Kizuna shit is just gonna be another grift which devalues the brand even further. Just let her fucking die and retain her legendary legacy instead of reviving her zombified remains over and over for shitty projects which never pan out.
