Today is just designing a painted shell. Longterm she is planning on painting the shell, replacing the screen with an IPS panel and maybe moulding some custom buttons out of resin.

As others mentioned, it's the end result of when you have a community where socially inept adults interact with young children, especially when the children are often dropped off at the events by their parents. Pedos love to install themselves into communities where they get to be alone with minors. The Pokemon community has had their share of pedos as well.
The Smash community in general deserve to be relentlessly mocked for their body odor and their community's association with pedos. It will never not be funny to make fun of the Smash community.
