Seems they tried to get rid of her too last year, but Phase backed her naturally. This year they cant even suggest that because Phase bought the vendor hall and if they pull now it will be a disaster
Ironically the manager's argument is the opposite. 'ooooh it's so awful but we are soooooo small and understaffed, we need every single person and even then we're struggling, when we get larger we won't have to do this anymore!'
All in all, i hope Phase starts looking to invest in another con if Pippa was only not blocked because of PC's overall clout and money

I wasn't pointing to the song as an example of her controversy, I was using it an example of how open she's able to display edgy shit. A 10 second pitstop at her twitter account would have had the same result. If you're going to be that blatantly open about being edgy, you better have a massive following or have a sizeable corp backing you up. It's not that it's fair or not, it's just how business works in clownworld.

I haven't really been following her career. I just know her as the utaite who sang "The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku." (Apparently some people didn't think it was possible for a human to sing it before she did.) She also sang a duet of "Drop Pop Candy" with Juliet Simmons (a.k.a. JubyPhonic) that I thought was pretty good.

Not to mention their meet and greets haven't been publicity announced yet. This gives Offkai full opportunity to pretend they were never slotted or just ignore them fully. Should have waited for the announcement then pulled out.
