I can see her turning them off if she got an influx in people mentioning her silence etc during the stream
Some people are clearly latching onto it just to stir shit but most just seem annoyed at her spiking a rare collab group stream when she handled the two yesterday just fine. She was in a mood the whole stream and pretty much just sulking in the corner until the end.
I'm leaning more toward it being a mistake since she usually just takes her lashings on less popular streams, and if the comments are saying things that are actually bothering her she usually just gets passive-aggressive about it later down the line rather than taking them down. The closest exception I can think of in recent memory was her shutting down the pet stream reddit thing.
And even that was her taking out her stress for the trip that weekend out on something else so that wasn't even that direct in hindsight.
It's a sponsored stream. She probably justed wanted to avoid any more negativity in the comments since she already kinda fucked it up by being bitchy for most of the stream.
It sucks it was a sponsor, but man, she was really in a bad mood. Like, I don't get why she'd be in such a bad mood, I get the autopath stuff annoyed her, but man would that actually piss her off that bad? I know she said audio overstimulation but I just have a hard time believing it'd make her that mad. Like she was in a bad mood all week, but this just felt like something else.

Might just be a death by a thousand cuts thing, honestly. Drained social battery from all the other collabs this week, being off her regular schedule because of said collabs, having to watch her mouth because of the sponsorship, probably still a bit upset about Mumei graduating etc., it all adds up.
I guess the past 2 weeks since her offcollab have been pretty busy with interactions.
She really does need to stop doing that. She did say she's been busy, but con season is approaching, she's going to continue being busy. Sucks we probably aren't going to get an anniversary stream the day of her anniversary with all the cons coming up.
In fairness, she's not always going to have control over when collab opportunities arise, for stuff like tournament invites and new game sponsorships there's not going to be much leeway on the timing and it's just an unfortunate situation that's out of her hands when the three buses arrive at once.
The con shit is its own problem, I've really come to despise con season since I have essentially negative interest in going out to a con myself and most of what I see during the months where they're on are the scuffed/delayed events and low-energy streams since everyone's tired. Hopefully she'll at least get the opportunity to hang out with the other girls again since that tends to lift her spirits though.
I get that, I think it's more that she tries to pack things together in a short time, like she says. I don't know how many time she rejects collabs, but sometimes, it's better to do that instead of just trying to get everything to happen in a week or so.
Yeah, this is what I feel, I despise con season, but I also am aware Pippa likes them. I just hate I know it inevitably leads to missed streams for, a multitude of reasons. I can't lie and say I don't get annoyed that Pippa says "Oh I can get so much content, by recording stuff, and telling stories of us hanging out." and then she gets back and never shows anything she supposedly recorded, and her stories are like "Yeah we hung out, it was fun." and seemingly everyone else seems to actually tell the story when they get back. Pippa only goes into detail of those few stories months after she returns.
I feel like she's trying to cover all her bases in justifying stuff rather than just writing it off as downtime. Part of it's probably her fixation on hiding that she's away from home, which while I appreciate that outright saying where she's going is a security risk, her usual compromise of playing coy is a fool's errand since we can all see through it anyway. I don't think anyone other than the most hardcore whiners would care if we had an occasional "no streams this week, I'm gonna be busy", it's how touch-and-go everything is with people waiting up late for either a short afterthought stream or a no-show that drives everyone insane.

For what it's worth, if i recall, Pippa is on record saying she feels guilty and remorseful for the amount of breaks in regular programming she had in 2024. Does that mean she'll work on that this year? Fuck if i know, but up until now the vast majority of the streams have been ranging from pretty damn good to bangers.

I think the one that got me was her going on about how she doesn't say what she does and used going with her parents to the movies as an example. Like, she said she didn't tell anyone she's not going to the movies to them because why would she tell everyone "I'm going down the road, take a left, another left, another right, drive for 45 minutes." kind of thing. Not the exact example she gave but it was the same kind.
Right, I just think this is an issue of not finding the balance between obligation, pushing herself, and comfort. if something like the sponsorship is coming up, prep for that should take priority to prevent situations like that even if it means turning down one of the collabs or being a bit less prepared for the smash one. Realistically the issues is that she waited until the day of to prep at all but if she's not going to quit doing stuff like that then she needs better prioritization.
It's probably really unintuitive and hard for her when it comes to planning, especially since she has fetal alcohol syndrome. She seems to think that it's fine to just stay in her comfort zone and do just what she likes, but what that ends up being for her is being absolutely terrible and slovenly about any kind of thinking about the future.
At this point she should try to develop some self-awareness and have specific people who help her work through her issues. Like having a financial advisor/accountant guy and a general organization coaching person (could probably ask a manager to consistently be there for her, or a therapist she sees every week) THAT AREN'T AI. That way she could be kept accountable for never following through with anything she says.
