I'll go further than him and explain the appeal of monster girls as a concept:

One is obvious, and that is they are exotic. Just like in the world, the exotic factor adds to attractiveness. As Pippa has said, if you want to get a girl/boyfriend, go to another country. Monster girls got that exoticism to a much larger degree.

The other, and I'd argue more important aspect, is the implied disconnect to humanity and society itself - and this being a positive. With a normal human woman, there is the expectation of not only normal human woman problems, but also just general difficulties in the daily lives of humans. Every problem you have, so too could a prospective partner. With an increasing amount of people being ill-equipped to dealing with all that troubles us, the desire to take on more in the form of another person is not really high.

With a monster girl, there lies the assumption that they don't have human problems. They probably have their own alien problems, but it would be something new and novel, and something you may actually be able to assist in - unlike your human problems that you already don't know how to deal with. You and your monster girl partner could help each other, having new perspectives to problems previously unthought of, instead of two humans having a growing amount of issues that neither can deal with. So the prospect of a happy couple is presumed to be vastly more likely.

Monster girls as a concept are different in more than just the immediate visual. Their appeal, in total, is that they are human-esque while not being human.

Furries, however, are total degenerate gay shit, fuck that faggotry.

I stopped eating tbell due to them breaking the cardinal rule (the zog slop has to be cheap) and had to look those items up. The cheese crusted street chalupa is 5.50 per taco, that's lunacy. The Luxe boxes at least approach the realm of okay value. It's just insane how they've raised the prices on their slop outpacing inflation by an incredible margin.

The price is passable but only if you make concessions, go a la carte, and live in an area that doesn't price outrageously high. The benefit to the food is that it's high-cal slop so anything you order is gonna have twice the calories it should. Some of these items will actually be filling enough to match the calories. I.e. not most of the menu, because $5 for a crappy quesadilla is bullshit.

At least in the places I've been to in the past while, I can get a bean burrito for $2 and they have drinks for $1 from 2:00-5:00PM and you can just order it then and pick up later. "Easy" ice is free and gets you a decent amount of drink. That's $3 for more than enough calories even if it isn't necessarily the nicest thing on the menu. The $5 box can be worth two meals if you split the chips and taco to one and the burrito to another. And every few burritos, you get another free. Most Tuesdays you can get a free item, too.

Sales taxes can kiss my ass, though. Makes it so much more expensive. But it helps keep the stomach full and saves money when I'm too tired or too busy to cook actual healthy food.

You're either expending excess mental energy that shouldn't be demanded by a zogslop vendor to get value or selling your data to get food at a price they could just serve it to you anyhow when you roll up to their place without selling your data.

My standard order back pre-covid was 6 tacos and a drink, on some days I might add a been burrito add beef. Right at around 8 bucks for my order add almost 2 bucks for the burrito I'd get on occasion and you're feasting for less than a tenner. Just the price of the tacos alone in ~4 years has gone up 80+% (depends on region). The bean burrito has also gone up 60-75%. Inflation is bad, but it isn't 50-100% up in the past 4-5 years (depending on the item). Imo a good rule of thumb for labeling an item as is if for it's prices it divides down to $1 = 100 cal, over that and it's scam territory and 50c to 100cal you're squarely in the very good value territory.

2019 and early 2020 prices for my normal order: 6 tacos x 1.07 = 6.42 + ~1.25 for the drink = 7.67 before taxes; add 1.60ish for the burrito then for a grand total of 9.27. Mid 2024 prices: 1.80 x 6 = 10.80 + 2.80 drink = 13.60 pretax. God forbid you want a bean burrito with beef for later it's another 2.90 for a grand total 16.50. A 56% increase when from 2020 to 2024 saw about a 21% inflation increase. If we want to say my memory is slightly off and round that 9.27 to 10 bucks, going from 10 bucks to 16.50 in current prices from tbell's website (no location set) the numbers are still quite similar and bad. McDonalds is similarly bad as I've posted about in this thread, but others like Wendys are holding it down with their permanent "Biggie Bag" series of combo meals.

An aside against tbell, they keep taking away shit and bringing shit back and adding whole new lines of food like a spazz. Who wants this shit man? You serve burritos and tacos. Fries? Breakfast? "Cantina?" Mexican "pizza?" Yum Brands needs to fire the Tbell CEO and get them the fuck out of California, their brand identity is so rapidly changing it borders on schizophrenic. Terrible business strategy. Every time you walk in there's something new and if you try it and like it, well in a matter of months it has a high likelihood of being gone.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with what you said even if in effect I’m willing to “deal” hunt until that’s gone too.

We think it’s terrible now but we’re even more screwed when tipping culture makes it to fast food.

Of thread relevancy, Pippa’s TB meal judging by the thumbnail will probably be $15+ before gacha and if she gets it delivered (as streamers do) it’ll be near triple that. Like ffs, at that point I’d rather starve.

back in my day a filled to the brim crunchy taco was .79 cents. Theyr're 2 and change now. oh and they still sold the taco salad back then.
