If it were for any other media, I wouldn't bat an eye (though the Jojo OST riffs do fit in with Jojo's overall gimmick). I just think it was kind of a dumb idea to do it in an IP knockoff.

Composers do this all the time, though I question the judgment in doing it for an OST of a property that is already blatantly aping another IP... Starts to make the whole thing feel it it's straddling the line between homage and bootleg.

Lot of people I've seen are familiar with the metal band stacked with Berserk fans Beast in Black, not enough are familiar with the band they spawned from, Battle Beast. Power metal that, interestingly enough, has a female vocalist with an absolutely killer voice. Can't recommend this band...
