Good god, I forgot all about that series. I was really looking at the picture thinking, "He looks like the dude from Soul Eaters... oh!"
I kept thinking "this doesn't look like Soul Eater" but finally figured out I was confusing it with SoulTaker.
Which I only ever watched the first episode of, but the direction and visual design was headache inducing and I never went back to it. Did watch the Nurse Witch Komugi-chan spin-off, however. That shit was great.
