Edit: I think to an extent, if Sakana is not going to do anything, Pippa has a duty to step in when it starts to affect not only her, but her friends, if she thinks it's unjust. Tenma would be shafted too, is she really okay with that? She's Phase's biggest talent, she has some sway in the situation, surely.

Offkai trying to blacklist Pippa and sabotage Phase-Connect isn't about Pippa or any of the vtubers. People, the ones in charge of Offkai, hate Pippa because of her fanbase, who are racist, misogynistic, and transphobic (affectionate).

It is wrong to support that event and those people because it's centralizing money, time, and attention to an event that is filled with terrible fucking people. The venn diagram of people who hate Pippa and hate indies who don't follow in lockstep with all the social issue gay shit, like Kirsche, is a fucking circle. These people will actively attempt to deplatform, defame, and more in order to stop vtubers they don't like. Any kind of support makes it easier for them to do these things.

I understand Pippa wants to be a martyr or whatever, but Pippa needs to realize she's a canary in the coal mine for the vtuber industry. There's a chance it'll turn into what gaming, and other hobbies, have turned into. Shit.

I still think that the fact that it took almost a year of Tenma bitching at Sakana to upload the damn thing that whatever happened to the stream had less to do with sabotage and more to do with miscommunication regarding whatever deal they had with spwn. He was clearly in no rush to clear anything up regarding it.
